Our Approach

Our team of professional counselors will educate, support, and guide you to a better place. We understand struggle and how hard it can be to reach out for help. Creating a comfortable and safe space for you to talk about your life, feelings and relationships is our goal. Our offices are like living rooms – seriously, we want you to feel at home in our offices.

Our approach is holistic and integrated. We utilize a variety of clinically proven interventions to include CBT, mindfulness, health, and wellness. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy that focuses on what is happening with you in the “here and now”, rather than focusing on the past.  Though issues from the past inevitably come up and therefore should be attended to, they are not the primary focus of this type of therapy.  It is called CBT because the therapist works with the client on thinking patterns (cognitions) and on the behaviors that are causing the client difficulty in her life. This form of therapy has been clinically proven to help reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, and work through trauma.
